- CCCC MS 173 This book contains a handlist of the mss of the various works of Sedulius. Notes that CCCC MS 173 contains an eighth century text of the Paschale Carmen and is the earliest English ms to contain it. There is a detailed description of the ms. , pp. 7, 41-2, 123-4 Handlist of manuscripts containing works by Sedulius. Gives a description of CCCC MS 173, dating ff. 59-83 to the second half of the eighth century, and ff. 57-8 to the ninth century. The text of Sedulius is described as extensively glossed in Latin and Old English. A bibliography of scholarship is given, pp. 41-2

Notes that CCCC MS 286, ff. 129v, 207v, have short extracts from the Paschale Carmen, pp. 123-4 Handlist of manuscripts containing works by Sedulius. Describes CCCC MS 286 as late sixth century, gives provenance as Italy, perhaps Rome, later at St Augustine’s, Canterbury. A bibliography of scholarship is given, pp. 123-4
